What skill is everyone dumping on their horker to pump find potion?
Not sure what youre asking but the find item synergy is find potion. Each hard point to find potion = 1% to find item. And they just hotfixed the skill description to reflect that now. So i put 20 pts to find potion and enough points to find item to reach about 50% for a total of about 70%
The skill that is gimped is your weapon mastery. Howl and BO are synergies to Berserk and BO itself is a really important buff so the one skill that effectively gets shafted is the end is weapon mastery. I advocate going half/half or 10 points each due to diminishing return on Find Item(see below).
Shako + Skullders + Battle Command + Maras + Inventory(Torch + Anni) = +10 Skills
10 hard points into Find Item = level 20 for 51% chance
20 hard points into Find Potion = 71% chance
10 more points into Find Item = 51% → 55%, not much of a return hence the half/half method is what I’d advise. As for what to max last… up to you. Find Potion would be my pick being that 51% chance on Find Item is pretty solid and every hard point merely bumps it another point, which is better than putting it into Find Item itself.
Then again, you do what you want to do as they say.

Personally i think it depends on what kind of barb you are building. If youre building a zerker then you can go 20 pts zerk, 20 pts FP, ~10 pts FI, 20 pts BO and 20 weapon mastery.
Im still using a frenzy barb so i maxed frenzy, FP, 10 pts FI, weapon mastery, 1 pt to BO/shout/BC/zerk and dumped remaining pts to double swing.
I find i dont need the HP from BO as much as a frenzy trav horker.
I run shako w/cham, grief z and ebotd z, highlords, chancies, upped goldwrap, 2x dwarf star, rare frw gf/mf boots, wealth armor. Double 2x lem ali baba on switch.
There is no need for mastery with Berserk. Berserk offers contrary to Frenzy and WW enough attack rating and damage on its own. The positive side is you can use any weapon without respec, one handed or two handed for more damage. I’d go two handed with:
20 bo
20 berserk
20 find item
20 find potion
rest into 1 point wonders and war cry to stun council minions.
Defense rating doesn’t matter with Berserk. At the start of ladder I’d go 1 handed with a shield for max block and resistances.
Most damaging weapon for berserk is eDeath Champion Axe.
Good point about the dmg and ar already built into berserk. Probably wont need anything into mastery esp if playing on p1. I guess you can max find item for an extra 3ish % or maybe dump the rest into a mastery if running on p3 or higher games
1 point into mastery maybe, the rest from gear and don’t forget battle command. All barb skills are at least lvl base+1.
I run a ww barb because he can farm pretty much anywhere now that I have grief and enigma. But I found a pretty good solution. I dumped extra points from shout, iron skin, and natural resistances and pumped 32 points between find potion and item. On weapon swap to hoto and spirit he horks at 74%, which is insane.
It treated me pretty well last night in trav. Found a pul, then horked a ber, and 30 minutes later horked a jah.
I think 1 point in mastery might be valuable for the crit bonus (unless you 1 hit without it then you don’t need it)
