I don’t see how sin is “not viable” outside of this build. Traps are better than they’ve ever been with the resistances fixed, and there have been other specialized martial arts builds that have been useful for a long time.
“Viable” just means “good enough to clear the game and farm their way to 99.”
“Viable” is not synonymous with “the best.” It just means “it is reasonable to do”
