Hello everone. This is my first time playing the bowazon, and most likely i will respect into javs when i get enough gear. But for the moment and for foreseeable she will be doing bows. I got the full mavs set,highlords, and a torch. My question is : with that gear can i go strafe/multishot or is it better to stick to cold/fire? I heard strafe needs a LOT of gear, is it doable like this?
I rocked a Mav set in Non-Ladder in 2.3. Main would be the cold tree, i.e. freezing arrow and damage synergies with strafe as backup. When I strafe I weapon switch to an upp’ed witchwild - budget build initially then I swapped to WF later when I could afford it.
With 2.4 strafe is better now so the frostmaiden with strafe backup build should be still be viable. I was mostly farming Chaos on p1 and it was pretty easy.
This is by no means the best bowa build but more a budget build around Mav set.
Cold Fire is just great and very satisfying to play. Highly recommended.
I usually max strafe and valk. In Hell difficulty, you will meet a lot of monsters that are either immune to fire or ice, hence, you can may have to balance fire and ice skills.
+skills items are necessary for an Amazon build.
