Need Advise for Pally Shield

Hi All, I’m quite new to Pally and have some queries:

  1. Is Exile runeword only for zeal/smite build?

  2. What is the best base for Exile?

  1. Exile is definitely made for melee builds, of which zeal/smite reign supreme.

  2. Best Exile base is kind of up to the user.
    *STarge - lowest dex required for max block/lowest defense
    *SRondache - highest average damage for smite/lower defense
    *Kurast - Middle of the road for defense/dex required
    *Zakarum - Second highest defense/second highest dex required for max block
    *Vortex - highest defense/highest dex&str required for max block

All elite pally shields are good to use, just based on a preference on how you build your characters.
