I recently found a decent crossbow on my lowbie necro, but while I meet the strength and dexterity requirements, I can’t use it. It’s not “red” when it’s in my stash, but is when I equip it. Am I missing something?
You need bolts/ammunition to be able to use a crossbow. Charsi has some to get you started, after that just pick them up.

I’m a doofus. I saw the bow take both slots, so I assumed I didn’t need them. Oh brother.
