Just leveling a Necro summoner - it seems like boss fights still aren’t really balanced for this style of play. If a necro has to fight a boss, there are only a limited number of bodies around the boss (besides Duriel who has NO minor enemies in the arena) and it gets really annoying going back to different WP’s to get new summons back. Even druid summoning companions don’t need a body to summon, so its not even an issue for them.
I have an idea of putting corpse piles around boss fights (could be 1 area or maybe a few?) so you can summon more skele’s. I would also say make sure the pile can’t be used for corpse explosion since that can be an exploit. But it would really make it balanced for this style of leveling.
I leveled every class and it seems only this style is punished for boss fights. Wondering if anyone has felt the same?
Or use the “corpse” of your destroyed skeletons to re-summon them. But It’s usualy only a problem during normal difficulty.
I wish it was better for normal. I understand its only for that, but kinda annoying to run into a roadblock in the beginning of the game. Little QoL for Necros would be cool.
Some things are pretty inconsisent in the game.

I don’t think this is a great idea. Builds have pros and cons. This is the weakness of this build. It’s also solvable. Decrepify, clay golems, frost mages all slow the boss. Or life tap keeps them alive. For normal you can iron maiden and just keep golems rolling and kill bosses that way. Prep, plan and overcome obstacles with creative solutions. It’s why d2 is so well done

Just use decrepify with clay golem and make sure to recast the golem when it dies. This will greatly slow down the boss and your summons and kill him a lot quicker.
Add 1pt to summon resist. Max skeletons, max skelly masteries, 1 to clay golem, 1 to decrepify.
equip an act2 might merc with crushing blow gears and some ias.
as what other players say, cast decrepify and clay golem on any boss. Then it is done. Killing speed is acceptable.
