1.) A simple loot filter in the options with a easily accessible UI. (Removes Crude/low quality items, color codes certain items, allows us to remove items)
2.) “Larzuks Hammer” a new rare drop item that when you cube with an item it adds sockets similar to Larzuks quest. If the item can’t have sockets or already had sockets, it then rolls a random stat. I
3.) P3 loot as the baseline “nodrop” drop chance in P1, P2, and P3.
4.) Enhanced crafting system. Simply make all the blood, hit power, caster, and safety recipes work with any magic base type. (And remove the gem requirements to “up” runes)
5.) More item slots on the mercenaries. (This would actually help 1 element builds early game. Its also fun to gear up our mercenary.)
I think you have some fun ideas, and number 1 is definitely an alright QoL idea
but 2, the hammer should only drop in a5 early zones, and only after all A5 quests are done. That way it can be considered that larzuk went to let some steam out but forgot his hammer in the frenzy. Maybe after completing all quest this can be a gossip line to hint at the item.
number 3 may seem like a pleasant idea, but in reality it isn’t a good plan for the future. Item rarity and nodrop chance are what keep items from being too easy to acquire, and thus pushing people to have to trade or grind.
4 seems like a cool idea to me, I always wondered why it was so item specific…but the gems for upping runes is to help slow the process of upping runes. I think the gem requirement shouldnt change.
I think number 5 is an awesome idea, but I’m not sure it will be too balanced if we allow too many extra slots. possibly 1 ring and an ammy? that might keep it from getting out of hand…definitely cant give them the full inv or they will just steam roll anything they encounter and you have a 1man recking crew lol(My merc currently has gaze, fort, and insight…he doesnt die, and can clear large crowds of hell cows as it is, meaning he has reached his full potential).
to give an idea…if I gave my merc a pair of goblin toes, he would solo baal easily lol

No thanks, rather they find a way to make the game a little more difficult, they have been making the game easier and easier, continu this and it’ll end as Diablo 3 where your decked out on day 2 and the grinding to get that 1 extra % from 3 day till end of ladder.

Either basically the same answer as to point 2 or only if they nerf the mercenaries so they would be able to reach their current point fully equipped and not become stronger than they are, they should aid the player not easily take down everything for the player.

Games list needs to be updated 100%. Allow us to filter by name, player count, and active game-time.
Allow rushers to rush, it’s one of the few ways people can consistently generate wealth for themselves. I dislike the changes to A3 where we now have to complete the full Khalim’s flail. There should be the option to trade in a standard of heroes for an “Arcane Staff” or “Imbued Khalim’s Flail” that is account-bound but doesn’t disappear when used.
Mercenary Specific Sets would be cool to see for example
A1: allow merc to cast multishot/stafe
A2: periodically Charge or cast Jab/Fend
A3: have a low lvl cleansing or conviction aura
A5: Occasionally cast find item/war cry
That was what I wanted, a Remaster as promised, but they already changed allot and because the game became to easy after 1.10 anyway (imo atleast), why not, if we need to make changes (and apparantly they need to do so whether we want them or not), make good ones and make the game harder again.
Although I don’t see it happening, if they added more equipment slots to mercs, nerfing their stats to compensate would be a requirement IMO, mainly thinking of the resistances.

change the specific gems for cube-up runes to any type of gem of the same type (like why the hell are you expecting me to farm specific chipped gems? Thats just stupid)
continue on balancing and buffing of bad or unused skills
charm inventory - you cannot place anything else only charms there and charms no longer work in normal inventory
buff act 3 mercs a bit (allow them sorc wands?). They are still lacking something
either add more chest tabs, increase the chest size or allow more chars to mule.
