My wishes for D2R

Going to make it simple here. My wishes are:

  1. Revamp some maps like Arcane Sanctuary, Maggot Liar and other maps cuz pathing is so damn thin.

  2. Add halloween and any other holiday skins for all characters. (Make some profits, Blizz)

  3. Carbot Animations for D2:R

  4. Fix rubber banding bugs

  5. Add lobby for Playstation and other consoles.

  6. All consoles should play together (PS, switch and xbox)

What are yours?

Sorry but I don’t think you comprehend the complexity of it. GGG struggled with it for years for PoE, and now they have a not perfect but tolerable solution, after rewriting their entire network code from the ground up. It’s not gona happen for D2R.

Also plz no change to maps and no stupid skins.

I hope 1. and 2. don’t happen from OP suggestions. I have 3 features that in my mind are imperative need ASAP features. Any true improvements can be considered after these core requirements.

  1. Fix load times, server issues and remove queue.
  2. Add /players command to multiplayer (can only add more to players in game).
  3. Modernize the game join system.

This should have all been done prior to release but the next best thing is as soon as possible. These issues are a constant annoyance that can’t be ignored.

I don’t really have any wishes.
Except for fixing the very dangerous bugs (bossmob auras/interactions and glitches which KICK your face in under one second if you are not careful or watch out which auras esp. in nm and hell are together on the bosses).

example: Bossmobs with lightning AND fire enchant: he die…you will die if you are to close no matter how much hp your char has. the more hp the monster had the moee dmg you take. can kill a 8k char in hell instant.
nice for hc players -.-

But if these bugs stay in the game you don’t need to play a hardcore melee char anymore. You die and do not even know why…

What I’d love to see:
A grace period when entering an area instance. During playthrough, when entering Duriel’s chamber, i was literally dead by the time i got off the loading screen.

A Uniques tab for all of us collectors.

Every game i start, i have to start with alt to switch showing items on the ground and tab for map. Would be nice if the game remembered my last setting and just used it in the next game i create.

Some improvements on character pathing. Maybe it’s just me, but i regularly get stuck behind patches of grass…

Also some simple loot filter would be much appreciated.

I agreed we need more stash tabs.

I played Diablo 1-2 when I was kid. happy that they brought D2R back with better graphics. Nothing wrong with having wishes.

Edited: I have more wishes but I forgot. I’ll throw some thoughts in later hopefully that will fix for consoles. There are lots of things need to be fixed

Yep!

  1. buy back tab for the vendor
  2. “conirm” system of repeccing points, so that you don’t blow your respecs with an errant click.
  3. Instead of losing follower gear when you forget to strip them at rehire, the items get dropped on the ground where the old merc was last standing.
  4. I’d like for the cube to open and work the same way when you are in the vendor as it works in the tab.

  1. Allow us to break all jars, barrels and urns at once with a spell. Save us time!
  2. Merc gets benefits from shrines, too.
