My character disappeared from Offline and I can’t get into the game. msg: failed to join game

The problem is likely due to a corrupted shared stash file. 1: Navigate to C:\Users\YourUserFolder\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected\ 2: For Softcore: Rename “SharedStashSoftCoreV2.d2i” to “SharedStashSoftCoreV2.d2i.old”. I did this, I lost my main character and all the items in the shared chest. I stop playing here, it takes a lot of time to lose everything out of nowhere. thanks for the help!
