My cube missing after maintaince

At least it was only the cube. Easy enough to get another. Hope that nothing was inside the cube. Here is what blizzard says about missing items.

So as many of you know, you can suddenly and without any kind of warning lose either all your items, your characters, or random stuff. I myself lost all of my equipped items and thus set me off on this adventure. We can’t get a refund of the game because we’ve already played it. (Though I won’t be playing it for now.) So that’s means Server crash that make item missing is not your fault. Well…alright.

I got the same issue as well. I am in Hell mode already so does that mean I cannot even get it back by quest?

You can try to kill the council in Travincal, they should drop a cube if a character doesn’t have one.
If that does not work, try to loot another one from the chest in the Halls of the Dead.
If that also does not work, ask someone with a mule or new char (one that does not own a cube) to open a game and then try to go for one of the above methods.
