I wanna reach somehow the 75 % item find but i just dont know how! I nearly maxed out item find and i still got just like 56 or so! I got eni anni torch highlords bulkathos alot of skill items! still far away to reach that 75% tho! Any idea how to get there? or some barb with experience that could help? ty
according to theamazonbasin Find Item is maxed out with Skill Level 60 at 60%. Due to very hard diminishing returns putting points into it doesnt really pay out.
You need 20 points in find potion. Depending on your + skills you need 1-10 points in find item
^ yup find potion gives a flat 1% per lvl as a synergy
Exactly, max find potion first. Then as much as you’d like to find item. I actually have 76%
For a while I used dual heart carvers for +8 just right there. A lot of people will say it doesn’t pay off to go that high, but I primarily farm Trav only with that barb, so for me, I just wanted the highest chance to pop a rune. 2% more over 5k runs is significant. But that’s me, I’m kind of wild with it… haha

kk gonna make then the same! maxing that find potion out aswell! Also just need it for travs and chaos sancturio

You got this! To be honest, I never made a horking barb until D2R. However, I played LOD since release… so for 20 years I never made a horker.
Once I had my initial sorc up at D2R release, I just decided to put some basic stuff on a barb, and really really love it. This is my favorite character for PVM, or at least top of the list.
If you are determined, and willing to do the runs, you absolutely will find items and runes. I even started out by saying “I’ll just try 100 runs and see what happens”. I had one single Lo rune, so I made a Grief. This is just my experience, but I found a Lo rune on run 98. So, pretty quickly got my money back! It’s only been up from there.
I went from never finding an SOJ, to finding 3 now (all same design… and my favorite for SOJ, go figure!). 4 perfect Mara’s in a row (which is the most insane chance ever… honestly, I don’t know how this happened)

I haven’t made a barb yet for this ladder. But my NL barb has gone through different iterations.
My barb uses Berserk as the main attack, with one point into ww for leech.
Skills look like:
1 point to berserk (and all prereqs)
1 point ww (and all prereqs)
20 Blade mastery
1 Iron Skin
1 Natural resist
1 increased stamina
1 increased speed
1 howl
1 shout
20 battle orders
1 battle command
20 find potion
20 find item
10 left over points… 
I’ve thought about going with howl to synergize with berserk and also help enable better chaos runs, but I just never really do them! So still not sure. He’s level 93
Currently, he wears:
Shako w/Ptopaz (Arreat’s is a great option filling in resists and attack rating, also used Gface)
Enigma (used Guardian Angel until I found my runes)
Grief pb (Used Oath before that)
Rhyme shield for resist, mf, cbf
Highlord’s amulet
Rare ring with dual leech and resists
Ring with 10fcr, good mana, attack rating and mf (mostly just for mana and fcr)
Laying of Hands gloves (the damage to demons really works well in Trav)
War Traveler boots (used gores, and before that goblin toes, and before that, just resist rares)
Arachnid Mesh belt
On switch: 2x Hoto
However, keep in mind the FCR from Arach and rings are not need if you aren’t teleporting yet. I would use Goldwrap + heart carvers before I had the hotos
I have a torch and anni that I farmed myself + Gheeds
Mixture of ar/life type charms along with mf. But I leave a 4x3 space in my inventory and carry the cube.
Enough strength for gear
Enough dexterity for max block (tower shield has good base for Rhyme)
Everything else in Vit
I hope this helps! Remember, there’s not much I can upgrade except my charms, so I hope the other gear pieces mentioned helps your mindset! It’s still super effective before enigma if you are purely running trav. Just leap attack lol

Thx man! Actually your skill tree did the trick for me! was really just cus i didnt maxed out the find potion aswell! Found before alrdy trough it a 250 ravenfrost!

Hey, that’s nice! Plus the skiller gc, woot! Be aware not to use the raven frost on your barb. You do not want any cold damage as it can shatter your bodies and then you can’t hork
