- Experience
Purchase game since Dec 2021. This is my first experience playing Diablo. I started offline for a few months than moved to non ladder. The announcement of ladder drew my attention and from there I only played ladder. Overall I enjoy playing the game to no end. 3000+ hours in so far.
- Forums
It’s very quiet on the console side of things. I often find myself on the General side to find any information. I’m really not sure why the player base has to be separated. I feel as a player in general my opinion matters whichever side of the fence I stand. Trading often gets lose since new topics push them down. I can acknowledge the audience and the topic created overwhelmed Blizzard replying them all. So not replying creates more uproar. If we can all agree to add a small click tab only accessible for Blizzard side to click as read. I believe this goes without saying you have looked into it. Really helps on the Bug forums.
- Updates
Updates to the game is always welcome. It brings old mechanics new again. Of course there are pros and cons but I’m only talking about the positive side. Sunder to address immune, TZ for better drops, exp, ease the road to 99. Now we have runewords to address mobility, melee and merc for mid game. All is very nice but the main concern for me is the foundation of the game. It’s what makes a game strong so you can keep building more things on top of it. Please kindly look into the small problems before creating new ones.
- PTR
PTR is as important to PC as to console. I would like to test and offer my feedback as well. Understand a bad update hurts me for hundreds leading to thousand of hours of game play. Not sure if console license approval affects this.
- Trading
This part only affect non ladder and ladder. Trading to me is a great part of the game. Unfortunately it falls short. There are many 3rd party site to offer this solution. The reason people use these site because we can’t trade effectively. Creating a game with the name on title, posting in forum just isn’t a workaround. If we can type our name to create a new character. Why not have the same ability in game to chat? Most of my trades, I end up getting a rune in return. Can Charsi or other vendors offer a rune currency for my item? I believe even with bots and dupped items. This solution won’t have any impact. I would no longer need outside source to build up any end game runeword.

Great review! I feel pretty much the same way. If they can’t add chat, AT LEAST let the emote for “ need to tp “ be heard anywhere in the game. Some people would love to have company, but often they don’t realize that I’d love to tag along if they sent a portal.
ALSO… let there be a way to add people you meet in the game to your friends list. Like, let me post my friend code in game at least. There has been a number of times that I was having a blast with some random person and I can’t add them to my friend list. You know how rare other werewolf players are? I want to add that Werewolf as a friend, damn it!

You can always use Party to locate the other party.
The switch has a way to search for users you played with. But that doesn’t apply to diablo. Could be a server thing.

But true while on said platform you can’t see other games etc.
So yea they should allow everyone to be in the same universe.

A JAH rune just dropped for my last night and I was ecstatic, knowing it’s worth and I’m targeting enigma.
This is what makes the game so good, the challenge and it’s HARD, hard to get stuff and you have to farm and trade etc.
We don’t need anymore games that hand you stuff for doing nothing, this game was made back int he day when they targeted a group of people like D&D fans etc, not try and make a game all accessible to EVERYBODY for more money.
This 1000% can’t be touched, this is the core foundation of the game, and what makes it so good and separates it from all these modern crap games.
I just started playing again a few weeks ago and was thinking this exact thing, the way they designed this game to be so challenging like this, how they structured the loots and how it drops and Treasures classes. how they set it up to challenge you on the farming of bosses etc. ^^^^ This IS the game…you can play the game with PC or PS or XBOX, you just need to pay more for each.
