This is an effing joke - queued for 40 minutes to play 20 minutes - crash and queue again Blizzard you are a joke!
I need to say it again, Hire a new technical support team, you need new staff that can understand and know how to code a game server corectly.
Sad cant refund the game through site, well bank can over-ride them, account will prob be banned but if your legit done with blizzard its last resort
This is a disgrace !
I play 5 min and wait 45 !
This game ran smoother 20 years ago when I was a kid and had all the time in the world to play. I have a job now, I can’t spend 20 minutes waiting to enter a game.
Then take your damn money back!
All these people complaining on the forums to a company that only listens to money. Pull your collective heads out of your collective butts and tell your banks to reverse the charge.
Let your money get the point across.
good god! im player 165 in the queue, i might as well go out on a date and watch a movie.
After this update the game is completely unplayable. You wait 30-40min in queue to login, play somewhere between 5 and 30 min, then the game crashes and you are back in the queue. It’s so frustrating, it’s worse than servers going down every day for a few hours. At least we knew that when it’s working, you can play. Even if you get disconnected (which is annoying as hell, but a bit less of a problem compared to other things), you could connect again. Now it’s not possible. For that queue approach to work, all the other connection problems and game crashing out of nowhere should have been fixed first.
yeah…not playing until the queue is gone
if i have to wait every time i want to play, I’m just gonna play something else.
After spending 35 minutes in the queue simulator, I’m not impressed.
Game is still unplayable be it via crashes, servers going down or now waiting in a queue.
Actually I had more chance of being able to play when the servers crashed.
I am at a loss myself. I often only have a few minutes to hop on and do a few cow or Mephisto runs then get back to my life. Now those minutes are spent waiting in queue. My game also crashes (usually when something good drops I am denied) and waiting in queue AGAIN is a slap in the face. I have already seen my friend stop playing. Please Blizzard… get your act together before D2R becomes a zombie rather than resurrected.
This company is such a joke at this point it really should just be shut down.
Login queue + game crashes = impossible to do ubers and get torches. I crash an average of 2x per uber run. Normally I just reopen the game and get back in the game as fast as I can hoping it hasn’t closed yet. Now it appears that won’t be possible with 15 minute wait times to get back in the game. It pretty much makes the game unplayable and violates the social contract of expected norms for what a game is in general. It’s a readily available on demand form of entertainment. If they had advertised the multiplayer aspect of the game as being time-gated that would be one thing. But to alter the fundamental concept of what a game is, or when it is available without any warning or option to opt-out is just ridiculous. It would be like if you went to a car dealership and bought a Lexus, and then a couple days after you bought it when it had an issue that needed to be fixed, the dealership snuck over to your house in the middle of the night, swapped it out with a Hyundai Elantra, and was like there you go. We fixed it.
Only if I could…
You can not do that after one month.
It’s just ridiculous. I was okay with the server problems from time to time for a new game just at the start, but this is insanely annoying. Like you said the game crashes every now and then. I can’t believe they actually came up with it. Another late april’s fool joke.
I’ve never been so frustrated in my life. I loved D2, and I was so stoked for this release. I got a little taste, and now it’s gone to hell. I have been trying to log on for four hours now to no avail. I wait for a 200+ queue for thirty minutes when I start. Then I get to the start page and I click online. IT RESTARTS THE QUEUE. Not only that, the past three times I’ve waited through this SECOND thirty minute queue, I get a failed to connect message. I maintained the slightest bit of respect for blizzard strictly because of how much I loved Diablo 2. That bit has depleted. Blizzard needs a major restructuring because this is pathetic.
Dang 240 queue… I’ll be online in 1h or so, how thoughtful of you Blizzard, let me think reasl hard if I want to play.
Well, it’s simple really, the CEO need their .1 billion dollar bonus more than the players need the server capacity to play on.
130M bonus, that’s what Bobby made last time as a bonus…
Imagine actually using the money to support the player base, lol.
