yes if you paid with a credit card you can do a chargeback.

There is a lot wrong with the architecture of the infrastructure in this game, but they could absolutely throw money at this problem to fix the issue. Nothing (aside from money) stopping them from beefing up those database VMs to handle the increased load. These people own datacenters, could easily up these to 400+ vCPUs, TB’s of mem backed by an all nVME array. This is how 99% of enterprises fix coding/architecture problems. 100% guaranteed that this is broken because of infighting between their infrastructure team and management. Been supporting environments like this for years, it’s always the same.

And yes, it’s old code. And yes there is clearly room for improvements. BUT, compute speed is insanely higher than it was when the game originally released. Backend processing is roughly the same. Go back in individual realms to decrease your DB load, problem solved. I’m not realllly jonesin to play with every single person in the planet anyway.

97 now… seems to be working

I could deal with the queue if I didn’t know for a fact that once I finally get into the game it’s gonna crash 10-20 minutes later and then I’ll be in the queue again.

Seems we are all going to spend more time in the queue than playing now…

There are 251 players ahead of you. Your estimated wait time is more than 1 hour…

Spit out my morning coffee from laughing, thanks for that

Exactly. Not only are the servers made of cardboard the client keeps crashing…

Can’t see myself doing this more than a couple times.

Can we get a refund?

I mean I’m in now, took about 10 mins

Ridiculus, now instead of playing im in q most of the time. Im playin for 20 minutes then the game crashes and i wait 20 minutes again. Right now im waiting for 15 minutes and the number havent moved its stuck ot 257? How long am i suppose to wait? It doesnt feel like a solution of the problem to me at all, its worse now!

Ive been at queue 183 for 30 minutes this morning. what kind of wait time should i expect?

I agree… personally I’d rather have the server crash and it be down for a few hours but usable the rest of the day. I know that screws some people over if that is their window of time to play. However, this solution makes the game almost unplayable for everyone all of the time now.

283 queue, bout an hour to login, then it logs directly into my offline characters, I click online, boom, 28x queue again.

Anyone else having this issue? Should I delete my offline characters?

It is indeed worse, much much worse… before when people said the game was “unplayable” it was mostly exaggerations. But now the game is quite literally unplayable now for many people, and meanwhile the Blizzard sheeple continue to defend this complete train wreck with the same old “durr dey are da minority!!111” card.

It’s good that there are still disconnections, yet the queue is moving…
But we all have to admit that Blizzard won’t be ever great again. :hugs:

Oh god…

It’s like the Hobbit meme, have at your second breakfast!
