My character is missing

Thanks for your time.

I’ve put hundreds of hours into my Javazon on D2R, then ROTW on the Switch. I played the character yesterday morning with no issues, then I logged in 5 hours later and the character was missing. The rest of my characters were there. I only play online, I never play offline. I did not delete it, I logged off as normal after my session.

I assume there has to be some record of this character existing somewhere. Is there a way it can be recovered? I can provide whatever information you need to investigate where the character went, how it disappeared, and whether it can be recovered.

That’s crazy, I’d heard about things like this happening offline, but never to an online character. You’d have to imagine that an online character’s data is saved somewhere on a blizzard server, or something along those lines. I’d bet blizzard customer support can take care of this one and recover your character. Make this resurrection a reality blizzard :folded_hands::folded_hands::folded_hands:

Mrllamasc said in a recent video that online characters should be backed up on servers… Can someone verify this?
