Multiple Accounts using one Email Address?

Hello! Hope everyone is doing well.

So, I logged into Battle.net using my email address and bought and installed D2R.

Having a blast! Having almost as much fun planning builds of characters as I am playing builds of characters lol.

If I understand things correctly, the game allows me to create up to 20 characters when logged into Battle.net under my email address.

I understand that when you buy D2R using your email address, you get to create up to 20 characters.

I do understand the limit. But my “planned build list” will probably eclipse 20 characters.

So my question is this:
Is there a way to buy D2R again under my same email address and get another 20 characters? Or do I have to create a whole new email address, and then create a whole new Battle.net account?

No, every account is under different e-mail. Sadly there is only 20 char slots, i suggest playing offline, its unlimited there.

Or you can buy more accounts but have to multibox or get help from someone to keep your game open when you switch items between accounts.

You have to use another email address to make another Battle.net account to purchase D2R again.

This is part of the reason a lot of people are annoyed by the only 20 character slot limit, many people want to have more than 20 playable characters with all the different classes/builds and game modes the game has, and respecs are scarce enough it’s not really viable to farm respec tokens every time you want to play a different build.

Many in the community have been asking for an increase to 50+ character slots, which I would love, but the devs have been silent on this issue, so I suspect it’s one of those situations where if they were going to do something to improve it, we’d already know/have it, and their preferred solution is us buying additional copies.

If I remember correctly there is an opportunity to create online game with password then quit, quickly switch the account and join it. Created game lasts 10 or 15 min. Items should stay on the ground.
I have to check it though.

UPD: It works but the game is available for 5 min max if no one is there.

Yeah xander, that was my experience too.

When me and my kid play, he will Create Game, and always use the same Game Name, which makes it easy for me to join.

There’s been a couple of times when we both Exit the game and then start again a few minutes later (for whatever reason). When he tries to Create Game using our same Game Name, it says “game already exists” (or something like that). When we both Join that game, it’s all still there, with the maps we previously uncovered.
