Multiboxing allowed?

If I have 2 copies of the game am I allowed to multibox? There’s an option in the launcher to run 2 at the same time, this is strictly for muling purposes since I play Classic D2R and there is no shared stash

I don’t think you can run both at once on the same PC without some sort of modifications. Each license requires a diff Bnet account and new purchase.

I don’t MB so don’t know the details.

I would refer you to the WoW MB policy as Blizz tends to make those game wide. Keep everything Manual. NO software or hardware to streamline it.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Different accounts, and have to run them under different windows user profiles. It’s allowed, but it’s a pain in the rear. Probably some kind of tool to do it, but I don’t trust that stuff.

Well, alot of ppl do it on WoW still and most don’t care by breaking the rules. it is a 3rd software program but they didn’t make rules on D2 about it (YET) but ppl will find ways to cheat the game. Just as long you are not afk from those accounts and letting the character do all the work for you then you be fine.

Any automation of any sort, including timed macros violates the rules in WoW and they are now suspending or banning folks. MB is not a bot thing, it is a script thin while the person is at the PC. They stopped that now and suspend or ban for it.

You can multibox within the rules they placed on WoW. It’s not efficient, but it’s doable.

Hmm, let me clarify that lol: I can open both of my accounts and overlap them and perform passably in low-mid level stuff in Classic just alt-tabbing to do stuff. It’s NOWHERE close to what I’ve seen others do with those programs though. I never got into all that because I just didn’t care to figure it out.

Running those programs is easily detected though. I wouldn’t do any of that these days if you value your accounts.
