Much needed QoL changes

As MANY players have stated over the years there are certain quality of life changes that are inexcusable that Blizzard has decided (for whatever reason) to not implement.

QoL Changes Needed/Requested Over the Years:

  1. Improve/Update the Loot Drop table so it ACTUALLY makes sense as you level up. There should be ZERO reason when farming level 85+ areas that players get iLvl items below 10.

  2. Allow gems, runes, potions to STACK. They take up more space than anything else.

  3. Fix/update the AI for player mercs. It’s been over 20 years and mercs/followers AI are still some of the worst in any game…period.

  4. Add more upgradable features for player mercs much like Diablo 3. Expand the amount of gear they can wear. Allow mercs to use a variety of weapons instead of a static design.

  5. In preparation for Diablo 4 coming out in the next decade (I joke), create/have special events that get players even more interested to continue to play and even more excited for the new release.

  6. Create LARGER backpacks and inventory space. Players should not have to create a dozen bank toons because of limited space available.

  7. Make set items more “valuable” for players to want to farm/wear than unique/runeword items.

  8. Much like you did with patch 2.4 PLEASE continue to “tweak” builds/skills so it adds a greater variety for playstyles.

I’m sure there is more I am missing so please feel free to add as people see fit. If Blizz Dev responds, please do not use “canned” answers. As a dedicated player base, we deserve better than “We may look into that in the future” or some other canned answer.

The only way I would agree with larger pack space is if it were a literally backpack or something. With the introduction of charms, I don’t think you could increase carrying space without having a separate item.

No. Please go back to D3

Good point Floopay…I forgot to add that having separate bags/containers for charms/runes/potions/gems could be an answer instead of stacking them. These containers/bags could be connected to your bank inventory not your backpack to alleviate becoming overpowered with charms.

All great points op. Full agree, sadly D2R fully seems to be at a dead end.

Actually, players like you are the reason D2R is stunted and won’t be improved. Why don’t you go and play classic D2LoD? D2R is NOT a remaster.
