Yeah on my initial progression run at D2R launch with a barb, the rng gods refused to give me any source of life leach, so I ended up crafting some blood items to finally get some!

Honestly, I’d rather remove the very specific rune requirement (e.g. “Nef”) and leave the perfect gem requirement. Perfect gems should have some uses, and this and the reroll and upgrade recipes give that.
But runes already have plenty of different runewords.
100%, but not particularly a fan of the suggestion of adding auras and the like.

Yeah, this is a fair point I perhaps undervalued. I saw the pgems more as re-rolling and other uses vs crafting, but I guess if they build up crafting, it will make them more valuable.
