Anyone else have issues/notice the the mouse sensitivity isn’t the same as Diablo 2? What I mean by this is when I move the mouse in game play it over shoots where it is suppose to be.
This is super apparent when trying to put potions in the belt manually, I grab a potion and move it toward an empty spot and it goes right past the spot (overshoots) and then I have to correct by coming back slightly (overshoots again) and after the third time I can usually get the cursor to center on the empty slot.
This also happens when I’m moving my character around a map and click and hold to move and when I let go of the button the character keeps moving right past where I wanted to go.
It is very different from D2 which was a very crisp input/sensitivity and everything went/moved where I expected it to go.

Sounds like you have mouse acceleration enabled. Might wanna check that.

actually old diablo 2 suffers from terrible mouse lag due to it being 25 fps and using software mouse it seems. what youre experiencing now is a much better/responsive mouse behavior that is only slightly worse than 1:1 movement due to vsync.

Nvm found it, window control panel thing, didn’t help, kind of made it worse it seems. Guess I’m just so used to D2 and took that for normal
Ok then
Just used to Bethesda games, that enforce mouse acceleration, just thought it might be that.

When I switch back to classic view the mouse goes back to working how I expected it to, so its def something in the updated graphics/skin that causes the mouse to be a bit finicky compared to old D2
thats odd, classic view and remastered is suposed to be the same now. they both use 60fps mouse. unless the offline mode is still locked to 25

I’m playing online… but give it a try (if you can get online) and see if you get the same thing. I dunno maybe it is just me :shrugs shoulders:
I have noticed the same thing when playing resurected, it is sluggish, especially when moving potions. It is pretty good when playing but inventory management and moving stuff sucks
I despise mouse acceleration.
other way around for me, i undershoot everything.
but there’s a mouse sensitivity setting in the options i haven’t messed with yet.
*also i hate when the cursor resets to middle-of-screen after opening inventory lol
the delay/acceleration is probably just caused by vsync if you use that option. but personally i prefer it over screentearing. the delay becomes muscle memory quickly (its not nearly as bad as vsync+tripple buffer in terraria lol)
I had the game crash on my old computer with a built in video card. I bought a new gaming computer with an NVIDIA video card and plenty of memory. Major mouse lag.
I finally decided to get a new mouse. $50. Plugged it in and the same issue. Unplayable.
I tried all different settings on FPS, etc. didn’t help. Finally, I decided to move the mouse USB to a port on the front of the computer. Got a message that Windows was configuring the port and then configured it for my Logitech mouse and said it was ready to go.
No lag whatsoever. Was able to go back to default settings on the game. No issues. No lag. Why? No frickin idea. Just worked. Hope this helps.
