So far we’ve just been farming the cow level separately but i’m not so sure this is the best way. Just wondering if it would work out better to do it together in multiplayer or if doing it separately is better since the odds don’t really halve until you have a third player for them. Or if there’s a better place to farm them.
Also just trying to farm SoJ but would rather do so with a good magic find build with these charms. Somehow i’ve manage to get a Dol, 2 Amns, 2 Sols, and a Shael all with seeing maybe 4 small charms the entire time, and my friend has found maybe 3 small charms and 2 Sols and a Dol since we started. Starting to feel like a desire sensor going off lol.
But yeah, just wondering what the most efficient and best way to do this is, and any help you guys could offer as well would be appreciated.
Trav is generally a place where you will find a lot of charms, the problem is there is only one pack you’re interested in. If you wanna farm charms i would go chaos sanctuary or cows. (On hell, ofc)
If you want magic find the easiest way to get it is through items gear though, and not through small charms.
Yeah i know gear is better, but the small charms are for added ontop of the gear we’ll be using. Just wanting the charms for extra magic find to get it to astronomical levels
There is not a huge difference between 300% and 700%, since there are diminishing returns.
You are better off farming the gear and pick up what you find on the way.

funny that you mention hell where it actually doesn’t matter as much. Nightmare is almost just as good for charms, and if you can clear it much faster then it’ll be better.
If you are focus farming charms and not doing it on hell you are missing out on potential rune drops from lvl 85 mobs or mobs with special drop rates (like travincal) and potential higher tier drops.
If you cant farm hell then maybe you shouldnt be farming charms in the first place? At that point maybe gear is more important?
I would rather farm somewhere where the only thing i pick up isn’t charms, but where i can also find pelts, rings, amulets and runes all the while focusfarming charms.

Perhaps, but if you can farm nightmare significantly faster and churn out charms 2x quicker as a result, it has a chance of potentially working out in the long run.
With nightmare, you can fully focus on mobility and sacrifice damage to achieve it, or do solo players 8 runs and still have a decent clear speed.
What’s the monster level requirements for getting small charms to roll 20 life/5 all res, 7mf, 11% res, etc.
Any good website to look that up?
6-7 MF: 47+
16-20 life: 47+
13-17 mana: 48+
3-5 all res: 33+
10-11 single res: 40+
1-3 max, 10-20 AR: 28+

Best to farm NM Andy, as she can only drop 3 unique rings, Manald, Nagel and SOJ in NM.

you’re underestimating charms. A full inventory of mediocre charms can give you lots of resist and hundreds of life, which may make all the difference in hell
