Can we run multiple D2R accounts on same battle.net account like we can with Wow?
I’m almost sure you cannot.
One game license per bnet account, at least D3 works that way and I can’t see anything about D2 having that kind of perk, neither OW.
Why not try it and find out?
No, you need a 2nd bnet account for d2r. At least that is my experience.
( Bought 2 accounts. And no, i’m not multiboxing - 2nd account is just a mule, cause 8 chars won’t be enough )
dont think so, i bought 2 keys with 1 intended for bo… you can have 2 battlenet apps running… but not 2 d2r clients… if you find a way apart from using a VM please send me a message
did not want to waste 39 bucks on another account if it dose not work
if first account dont work, why you want a second? XD
Nope. You can have 8 WoW licenses per Bnet account but only one D2R (or any other game).
If you want to have another copy of D2R to play you need to open another Bnet account (in your legal name), and buy the game license again.
Also watch out for multiboxing rules. Don’t automate it or streamline it. Keep it manual. If all you are doing is muling you should be fine.
You get 20 per license.
Can you open two bnet accounts at same time on same pc?
yes. just go to bnet options “app → allow multiple instances of bnet”
So you can run two Bnet accounts at same time on one PC?
I don’t think you can without doing some sort of witchery. I never multiboxed so I don’t know how it is done.
ok. ill check it out ty. I like giving my alts the waypoints etc. killing ancients for them etc. self rushing.
In Diablo 3 all you had to do was add -launch
to the parameters to have multiple games running without using the Battle app, but this doesn’t seem to be the case with D2R. I just tried, even without the Battle app running, but it still logs into the game.
Maybe it requires actually running multiple Battle apps to have multiple games(which is an option in the Battle apps settings)
yea, that was also a reason for me to have a 2nd account
I two boxed d2 for years. two old PC’s. just built a windows 10 pc to run the new d2r. expensive. hate to think i need to build another pc to run two accounts… did blizz invest in pc parts when they made windows 10 required?
ohh, you can do it on one pc - but need to have 2 bnet accounts with seperate d2r licenses.
it is possible to run 2 bnet accounts at the same time. ( battlenet options → app → scoll down → “allow multiple instances of bnet”
ty! Now if i run two monitors off same graphic card can i run them on both screens?
Sorry for the misinformation - i just checked my 2nd account, and now ( i had 2 copys installed ) it uses the same install as the main account. which means i’ m not able to use it. Can’t even edit installation folder.
