Monster's Conviction Aura vs Maximum Resistances

Does anyone know how conviction aura on monsters works with maximum resistances?

A monster can have a maximum lvl 11 Conviction aura, so this means -80% res.

Now, things like Guardian Angel templar coat add +15% max resistances, so this means as soon as your resistances are capped on 75%, this coat will take them to 90%.

Now, if a Conviction aura elite pack appears, how is it calculated?

Let’s say I have 250% resistances against all elements.
Hell difficulty takes 100% of them, so I will have 150% remaining. My resistances will be capped at 75%.

Now I add Guardian Angel with +15% max res.

Will my overall resistances appear 15% higher, therefore total 265%?

If not and my resistances stay at 250%, and an elite pack arrives with a 11 lvl Conviction aura, that means 250 - 100 - 80 = 70.

So if my resistances sink below 75, will the + 15 max res stop working?

I wasn’t able to find the answer anywhere, so a help in this matter would be appreciated.

No. You would need 270 to maintain 90% resistance through lvl 11 conviction.
Guardian angel does not give base resistance, only increases the cap.

I see. So with the GA on, if the base resistances stay at 75% or more, I will maintain 90% all res, but if the aura sinks the base below 75%, let’s say on 74%, I will stay on 74%, GA or not.

Thanks for the answer!
