Missing cursor when using gamepad

There is no visible cursor on menus when playing using a device that has no mouse but only a gamepad:

  • Steam Deck
  • Aya NEO
  • GPD Win

Plugging-in a mouse prior to game launch or while the game is running will fix the issue.

Onexplayer and GPD win3 with the same issue.

I have noticed this bug with my Ayaneo as well. I can get the cursor to show if I start D2R with joyxoff emulating a cursor and moving the joy stick during launch but if I minimize the game it create the cursor presumably because joyxoff shuts off when a game launches.

Same issue on my Aya Neo. Sometimes with cursor visible on start game, but when press the Win button and then return game the cursor just disappeared again. Nov 22 2021

This is not limited to smaller hand held PCs. Iā€™m experiencing the same issue on a full size PC that I use in my living room.
