Characters are missing, the entire account is clean, more than two weeks of the game, how to get them back? Or how to get money back for a non-working game?

i think jsp hacked your account stole your stuff and deleted your charaters. please change your password and start over.
mine are gone as well and to be honest this is how the other Blizz games run now as well unless they have the toobers crying then they fix it.They show the Blizz North logo but they were fired years ago so that is a lie in itself.

Don’t worry bout it. It’s a bug on their server’s side so yeah, gotta wait for this maintenance stupidity thing to be done, again…because…well, we got a bunch of monkeys in charge of the server stability and yeah.

Beta clearly showed that the game wasn’t ready for launch, but suits decided to not learn from D3 and WC3 neither seemed to realize what happened with Cyberpunk and released it anyway.
Blizzard North created Diablo 2. It’s still the work of that studio. The servers are new and the game is modified by Activision Blizzard.
The list does not display when the servers are down, which they are right now. Server crash day 4.
You may get a small rollback on progress when the game comes up. If your Horadric Cube was in use it may be gone and anything in it. You can get a new cube in Act 2 halls of the dead from the end chest. Any lost items or progress is gone though.
It is 100% on the IT department. Stuff like this happens due to not spending the money for an appropriate infrastructure. The fact it happens around the same time every day and multiple times on weekends suggests it’s due to high loads. A properly designed and funded infrastructure should be able to handle increased loads during peak times.

It does matter, that is why there are two splash screens and not just one. The new studio and the old studio. It’s still the majority of their work, they won’t remove their studio splash just because they modified it slightly with new art assets, servers, and QoL changes.
