Minimum Specs for PC?

So wait, I can play any game on the market, MAXED out settings, 60 FPS, but this game I am below system requirements? Da F is this Bermuda triangle crap?

but this game I am below system requirements?

minimum requirement is a 9 year old graphics card. recommended is a 5 year old graphics card. That isn’t very demanding.

To be honest I expected that my CPU would just die before SSSE3 became outdated in order to play to run a reskinned 20-year-old game. Like, I thought this thing would be immortal at this point. I7 950 @ 3.07GHz still running games maxed like a champ.

Yeah, 4 core/8 thread with over 3ghz still the standard for most games, it’s respectable. Only issue you should have is slower ram speeds I would think.

Graphics have driven PC requirements for YEARS so it is the graphics part that is doing this. I am sure you know that though.

What the game does not have, is the ability to turn off the high end graphics - it runs both at once with a fast goggle using the G button. So systems seem to require being on a computer that is within the last 8 years or so.

I am running it on a 2013 laptop with low/mid graphics settings.

Dell Alienware X14R2
i7-3630QM @ 2.4 GHz
8GB RAM
Nvidia GT 650M, Intel HD 4000 (not used)

My desktop also runs it (better) and that is a hand me down with parts from several friends.

Frankenputer
i5-3570K @ 3.4 GHz
16GB RAm
Nvidia GTX 970

I wonder what the Venn Diagram looks like between “PC master race” spammers and people who do not have advanced enough technology to run Diablo.

I just retired my i7-920 OC’d to 3.6 Ghz last year. Was a nice rig! It still ran most things fine I just got the itch to upgrade.

the game is not very optimized unfortunately. This type of game shoulndt need a 9600k

Complete nonsense, the processor requirements have changed very little relative to d2, since the game world, logic and physics remain the same.
Some pentium g4560 is enough, when the problem with avx is fixed, Intel support for these instructions starts with the i3 line.

I disagree. My 9600k is overheating when no other game gets it past 80C. It’s unoptimized. The game was rushed. Hence why there are game crashes, server errors, rubber banding, fps drops, I could go on and on with the amount of issues I’ve had

I was having performance issues until I updated my nvidia driver to the 9/20 release. Now it’s smooth as butter.

My pc is pretty old (2015ish) and runs the game maxed out. Yours must be ancient.

Hrm, my R9 5900X isnt even near to overheating and consumes way more then your 9600k o_0
