How do I know that my PC meets minimum requirements?
I mean, how do I know that my processor and graphics are above the minimum?
There are many processors and graphics on the market, and there is no clear ranking on what is below and what is above something else.
I have Intel Pentium G3420
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740
8GB RAM
I don’t think your machine is going to be enough sorry to say man.
What you can do is google what the minimum requirements are, and then basically google “[your processor] vs [minimum requirement processor]” and a comparison site will come up. Same with graphics card. Looks like you’re below minimum, but be sure to check for yourself. Even people with well above the requirements are having issues at the moment with overused GPU as it is.
I dont think that is gonna work. You can always just give it a try, and if it don’t work, just submit for a refund and uninstall the game. (If you dont uninstall, it could prevent a refund.) I was pretty sure my pc wouldn’t work, but figured I’d try. I got refunded very easily and immediately.
Though I gotta ask… why the hell can’t you research? It isn’t that hard to just do some research… look at the minimum specs needed and compare to what you got. Use logic. Like are the numbers you see for series type of vid card higher than yours? Yeah then you probably screwed. ect.
Also fyi, no, you cannot run the game in “legacy mode” to bypass the specs needed. I tried… Sucks cuz you literally can play without ever seeing the new graphics lol…

todays no one wants to guarantee anything to the customer. and since the “minimum requirements” is a form of guarantee so not you will not get it that easy ) enjoy your “recommended specs”.
and be sure that your drivers is up-to-date. yeah. no one tells you what exact driver version is proven to be good (it is some kind of corporate secret) but they are sure that some kind of “updated” drivers released way after game testing is OK.
support is not for solving problems. support is for convincing customers that all problems is on their side )

In theory, the min specs should change to lower specs. It makes sense. I can play D2 LOD just fine on this pc, but I can’t even launch D2R. Really, there is no reason that they can’t have it so you only need 2000 Diablo 2 specs, with everything in the old graphics. They have majority of such already implemented.
