My central map works, but when I press V for the mini map…nothing happens. What’s the trick to getting the minimap to come up? If I make the automap left or right, V just moves the automap from the left side to the right side.
Wait… there is minimap? I m only using TAB map.
In the control panel it shows a minimap with V as the default key. The only way I know how to get it to work at this point is to set the automap to left rather than center. But then you don’t have the big map.

Same…also the skill bar isn’t showing.
In the 20 seconds before my game crashes every time I set the map to mini in the options and when I press tab it comes up that way.

Tab is the automap and if you press it, it will pull up a map based on your automap selection (center/left/right) There is another key, which is at default V, which is labeled minimap. That should, presumably, open up a minimap on the upper left that is separate from the automap. Now if you set your automap to minimap left or right, then you press tab to open the map, pressing V at that point swaps the tab map from the left side to the right side. So it seems that instead of pulling up a map on the left/right side, V is toggling between left and right side for the Tab map.
It would be great if there was a way to toggle between mini map and full map, or as Armitas put it between left and center or right and center, with a button push instead of having to dig through menus.
Yes…I did finally figure this out as well…it was kind nice 
The mini map doesn’t show up at all for me, using the PC version. I even tried changing the key bindings and that doesn’t help either. It just doesn’t show up period.
Minimap still not working.
