Mild Motion Sickness

Diablo 2 Resurrected is causing me mild motion sickness.

I’m only able to play about 1 quest before I have to stop and take a break from feeling dizzy. I don’t usually get motion sickness. I’ve tried sitting further back and changing the visual settings including limiting the framerate but nothing seems to help.

I played a lot of the original Diablo 2 and never had motion sickness from it. The only games back then that I remember causing motion sickness for me were the original Descent, and Half Life 2 when I upgraded to a larger monitor. The fix for that was sitting further back.

I have multiple VR headsets that I’ve used the past 6 years. Only some games have caused motion sickness for me, and its usually because they’re unoptimized for VR.

The lighting moving across the map bothers me a lot. Maybe it’s the same for you?

Indeed, something is off, feels like the game is using a fisheye lens and warping everything else around the character, for me this is most noticeable in act I on “flat” fields. I don’t get straight motion sickness, but in time I’m getting a headache and feel a little dizzy.

Yes! I tried explaining this to someone, but they had no idea what I was talking about. In order to get this seen by developers, it has to be posted in General Discussion or Bug Report, so maybe the OP can edit their post and relocate?
