For some reason, my mercenary can’t equip items that show green on them. I have a runeword item that is meant for the mercenary, but it won’t let me equip it.
My mercenary has enough stats and is more than the required level.
What do you refer to as “green” ?
Which kind of merc is it?
What are his/her stats without any equipment?
What runeword do you want to equip and what is it build into?
Act 2 Merc with 180 str, 145 dex, and LVL 79. I am trying to equip a Colossus Voulge with 169 str requirement, 37 dex, and lvl 48. It is not working for whatever reason even though when I try to put it in the slot it shows up green.
Colossus Voulge str req is 210 and 200 when it’s ethereal.
How does it go to just 169?

Its Insight Runeword on an ethereal base. The weapon should be able to be utilized by my merc no problem, but it just isn’t able to equip it hence the reason for posting it as a bug.
Insight has no feature to reduce the base item str req.
Therefore your merc has to come up with 200 str to equip an ethereal Colossus Voulge.

Either there is a bug, or something is wrong because the weapon doesn’t show 200 str to equip it. The weapon lists 169 str…
