I think it would be cool if merc rogues could use amazon bows too, since canonically the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye are derived from Askari dissidents who left the Skovos Isle, and thus have connections with the Amazons.
Pretty sure they can use them. It was enabled in the patch where they buffed mercenaries.

Rogues can use Amazon bows and they get the benefits of the plus skills now. They added this in a couple of patches ago. The Act 2 Merc still rules most builds, even with the changes they made, but I’ve been having fun trying different ones.
This was established in the patch introducing season 1 nearly a year ago.
