So right now I’m using duriel’s shell, somewhere down the line ill get a fortitude or soething, but would i be better off using arkaines valor? using a ral’d andys and insight polearm
Duriels has cbf res and is a already good option. Arkaine doesn’t provide much value on a merc
I recommend treachery for the ias, fade, and cheap cost. Find a 3os eth elite armor and make a treachery. Arguably close to the strength of a fortitude for 1/100th the cost.
Here are a few recommendations not the best but in situations.
Treacheary
Good for IAS
Levithan
Nice DR and STR to equip those polearms when you not high enough level
Upped Shaftstop preferably eth
Fotitude for melee and res
Upped duri shell preferably eth
Good all rounder
Stone for lower level
Theirs aura ones but expensive and you would have to stack them in a act 3 merc like dragon armour and dragon sheild fkickering flame but conviction or lower resis is needed.
Anyhow thats all for now i cant remember the others.

Duriel prob best for low level merc, gives all res cbf and I think strength. Pair that with your Andy and you can wear any eth elite armor.
The goal for any merc setup will have some life leech and cbf.
Yes very much agree and its cheap too.
Ultimately, your mercs true power comes from its aura and it’s eth elite base weapon. Everything else is minor/min/max decision making in comparison to that power.
