This is single player offline play (players 8). I’ve been farming the act bosses for a few days now, Andariel / Diablo / Baal all dropped their essences, however, after about 200 runs for Mephisto, I got absolutely no essence drop from him. Could something go wrong?

Keep at it, you could get 10 in the next 50 runs. Thats stupid RNG luck for you.
I think so, alright, I’ll keep trying. BTW, is there any way to reset RNG when it goes stupid like this? LOL
Take a break, then come back and all of a sudden you get drops that you ground weeks for, within days…
You have to sacrifice a chicken to appease the Rngesus… just go buy a bucket of extra crispy at KFC – that should suffice 
rng is rng. I stopped picked them up long ago because of inventory space.
Once you have about 2 dozen tokens of absolution in your stash, you kinda stop worrying about it.

Then he has made a successful sacrifice, and I have crispy chicken to sooth my frustration over Mephisto not dropping his essence for me, either.
Not that I’m actually farming for essences, but that ain’t all those bosses drop.
I simply have a pile of all of the essences (that I will probably never use), except none from Mephisto, and it’s aggravating my OCD.
You can activate unlimited respec and dont care about essences at all.

So? It took me approx. 50 trys to get Diablo to drop.
The countess won’t drop a key and I been farming her since May 14.
I have the opposite problem, Countess drops keys often, so I got a bunch of those online mode, but I have yet to get a drop from Baal. Diablo only dropped 1 so far.
