I added runes of Lum, Io, Sol, and Eth to a 4 socketed staff in that order and the runeword didnt work. I believe it is broken.

you have to use white or grey name items. blue names on items won’t allow runewords, as the game considers them ‘magic’. also won’t work in set items, rares, crafted, and uniques. (greens, yellows, oranges, and gold/brown/bronze/whatever that color is supposed to be.)
same here so mad got a jewlers gnarled staff of regeneration instead of memory so lost hours of playtime to collects runes just to loose it completely cause staff is useless to me now unless they can fix it placed lum then lo then sol then eth on socketed 4 gnarled staff[quote=“Xanifer-1641, post:1, topic:14886, full:true”]

What part of “blue names” or “Magic items” do you people not understand?
Jeweler’s is a Prefix on a Magic item (blue name). Magic items DO NOT work with Rune Words.
To be clear:
- White items are Normal items with NO Sockets.
- Gray items are Normal items WITH Sockets. (Or Ethereal items)
You must use a Gray item (Normal Socketed) for Rune Words.
