How do I make items that drop stay showing like I can on pc by hitting Alt?
When I switch to controller it just shows it when you are near the drops.
Can you make it like it is with Mnk on controller?

In the skill tree, go to general, assign the loot show button. Then, in settings, go to gameplay and set whether the loot is times, hold, or stays when that button is pressed.
Kk that doesn’t seem to work.
On mouse and keyboard I press Alt and everything always shows.
On controller when I switch from MnK the items then switch to only showing whenever you are near them.
I’ve adjusted the settings ext and that’s how it still always works while running a controller on pc.
Works just fine for me, I’ve set the item label option to toggle. Dunno if its a controller specific issue though, I use an old xbox 360 controller.

Yeah idk I use Xbox x controllers.
Gonna play around in settings ext again later and see if I can figure it out.
Maybe somethings getting switched up when I flip between MnK to controller ext because I use both while I’m playing.
Controller for playing mostly and MnK for tele and Ui/inventory/store control
Yeah I just played around.
So no matter what while I’m using controller the item names disappear but while I use MnK the item names stay up even if I leave the room and come back ext.

Its most likely an issue of the specific controller you’re using then. I also use kb+m with mine, would really appreciate the option to remap all the controls though. Some of the actions are a bit awkward, like holding down the left thumbstick to repair gear.
Other than that, works surprisingly well.
I’d recommend getting JoyToKey and putting shift on L1 as well, so that way you can buy scrolls / potions in bulk instead one by one for the Xbox controller. This can also be done through DS4 Windows for PS4/PS5 Controller.
On PC; there is I believe a bug that when you switch control scheme, they auto toggle loot always show Off.
Anyway, to answer your question:
In button bind, look for the icon that looks like 3 kit kat bars under general skill, then assign a button. This toggle loot always show on & off.
I “solved” this issue by switching to KM+Mouse when I am in town. Sorting stuff & vendoring is a Pain using controller.
The 2 sec delay & lag when switching between control scheme is a nussence, but its a small nitpick.
I only use the kb+m to zoom in a couple clicks each session, got used to the minor annoyances with the controller quickly enough.

I don’t get why gold pickup toggle stays on between games, but alt loot name toggle turns off every game. It’s pretty annoying
