probly the best thing they added to the game, however, theres 36 terror zones and 24 hours in a day, meaning some areas may not get spawned for like 3 days ( the longest i saw was 70-72 hours, worldstone keep and catacombs)
and some areas may get spawned 2 or 3 times within 12-24 hours.
to help combat this and make each zone triggered on a consistent basis, there should be a cleanup of the crap zones, and some where they can be merged with eachother.
for example, why isnt tristram merged with stony field? what does tristram gain? it has incredibly poor monster density because of its size that its barely worth doing.
my list of terror zones would be:
cold plains and cave
burial grounds
stony field + tristram
dark wood and underground passage
black marsh and forgotton tower (i would remove the hole from black marsh)
tamoe highland and the pit
jail and barracks
catacombs (id remove cathedral as its pointless)
moo moo farm
sewers
rocky waste and stony tombs
dry hills and halls of the dead
far oasis and maggot lair
lost city and ancient tunnels (id remove viper temples and replace with ancient tunnels)
arcane sanctuary
tal rasha’s tombs
spider forest, spider cavern and arachnid lair
flayer jungle, dungeon and swampy pit
kurast bazaar AND all temples, not just the 2 temples in kurast bazar.
travincal and durance of hate
outer stepps
plains of despair and city of the damned
river of flame and chaos sanctuary
bloody foothills, frigid, abaddon etc
glacial trail and drifter cavern
frozen tundra and infernal pit
ancients way and icy cellar
wsk and throne of destruction
this brings it down to 28, which is alot better than 36.
i personally would like to see burial grounds/crypt/mausoleum ditched as its garbage, however, due to there being no cold immunes, its a great place for blizzard sorcs to farm very early in the ladder
ive also ditched blood moor as its crap, same with great marsh
travincal is too small a zone to be its own, like tristram and ancient tunnels
arreat plat, and crystalline passage are dead zones and can go.
