Make gold useful! gold must be real trade currency and not something with out use! do it like WOW! copper silver and gold! or very rare to get!

It has many uses in the game, just because you dont consider them useful, does not make them actually useless.
Gold is useful, it’s just not useful as trade for highly valuable gear. If I find an extra mid range not too valuable unique that I don’t need, I’ll create a “x 4 1mgold” game to help feed my gambling addiction, to keep Gheeds coffers filled to the brim with gold, and my coin purse typically much lighter afterwards.

This is in no way correct, if duping becomes less prevalent, gold is going to be awesome.
If you can stop 2/20s from getting duped, gambling just got a whole lot better.
The easiest way to make gold more valuable is to increase the amount we can hold/stash.
It’s very useful! You can gamble some real awesome stuff with it!
No one who ever got a 600k repair bill from Charsi considers gold to be useless

Gambling can get you some really good magics/rares and crafting materials.
Gambling, resurrected Mercenary, buying new items early on, repairing (…) How is Gold not useful?
Can it get that high without needing to repair charges? I don’t think I ever saw a repair that high
I am not sure if it is possible without charges.
Though that is usually what it costs to repair my UT Smiter when I run out of LT charges.
High end dura Runewords are ridiculous. It truly is terrible. I actually think the repair costs on those items are a bug, if I’m not mistaken.
Aah, fair enough. I almost never used items with charges to be honest.
I think the only time I ever really used it was the revive charges on a harmony bow, and I stopped doing that pretty quickly when I saw the repair bill.
As others said Gold is useful, many use it for gambling, can get some GG circlets out of it.
And you can make gold farm barb which can farm 150k gold per minute.
oh man. i feel bad for all the excitement you miss out on. Gambling/Crafting that for that unicorn, once it hits, you would understand.
Right? The only reason I hit 93 on some chars is to pop that gamble button and craft ammies
ive gambled some absolutely nanners things over the years of playing D2. Spent millions and millions… billions maybe? Gold is crazy useful. Im SO glad that D2R has auto-gold because holy hell was it annoying clicking on any stacks, even the big ones. My poor clicker finger is reserved for destroying the minions of hell kthx.
auto-gold will make gold-farming builds feel way more useful now. Shout barb ftw! Running to pick up gold actually feels way more rewarding now to be honest. Huge improvement.
They also made it so dark that light radius will actually be a useful stat now to stack lol.
Funny how just a few changes like a slightly bigger stash, shared stash and auto-gold can do so much for the game. Ive been playing the Alpha and the stash is magnificent, hope they add a few more tabs tho.
