you can click cntrl and left click in stash to put items into stash fast.
please do this with trades, annoying trying to put say, 20-30 gems into a trade window and moving them all across 1 by 1, rather than just quickly clicking on them all and holding cntrl
Could just do a discord facilitated trade and drop that stuff on the ground.
if someone even opens that trade box i’m not trading with them.
I open up the trade box even when giving stuff away for free. Had games drop too often and without any forewarning.
I don’t trade often, so I’m curious how do you trade securely without the trade window?
yes please
And please also let me use my “open horadric cube” hotkey when i already picked up an item
P.S. why do people complain about such requests? you have nothing better to do? It’s a good UX improvement, if you don’t use this feature go away. Everybody on traderie uses trade window.
Yes please!
Yeah this and now that we have wide screen monitors let us have Cube open in between Inventory and Stash/Vendor! Make it D2R graphics only if there’s an issue with that for legacy graphics.
If you use Discord, Traderie, these Forums, etc. to pre-arrange a trade, you both meet in a private password protected game and then just drop stuff, and trust that the other person isn’t going to screw you. Generally there’s a certain amount of…reputational accountability to those platforms which makes it relatively safe. Traderie, for instance, has a rating system where you rate your transaction. If you scam people and get poor reviews, no one will continue to trade with you. Similarly if you scam someone and get called out in Discord or other platforms, you could get banned/shunned from that community. Is it iron tight? No. But it’s pretty good. I’ve done lots of “drop trades” with people from Traderie and this forum without issue.
It’s not uncommon to trade >40 things, say Pgems, for higher end runes, so there’s definitely trust involved in moving everything to inventory then dropping it on ground, then grabbing a new inventory full to drop that, but it’s a huge time saver over the Trade window, and if you were trying to trade >40 for something anyway, you’d have to use more than one trade window transaction anyway, so just to make up a situation, say you were trading 80 Pruby for Jah, even with the trade window, there’s trust involved. Either you trade the 1st set of 40 Pruby and get nothing, trusting the buyer that they will not just leave after getting 40 free Pruby, and trade the last 40 for Jah, or the buyer would have to trust you wouldn’t just leave after trading the 1st 40 for Jah if they put it in the first trade window exchange, keeping your last 40.
Another fairly common trade is 10M gold for Ist. Since that’s a full personal stash plus all 3 shared stashes worth of Gold, and your character cannot hold that much gold, simply grabbing a character full of gold and dropping it on the ground, over and over until you have dropped all 10M is the generally accepted way to do this. The buyer will generally drop the payment rune as you are doing that.
This so much. Of all the QOL they added, stacking gems/runes/potions/etc should have been an easy add. Any item that doesn’t have randomly rolled affixes is easy to program as something that can stack. We have multiple options for unstacking commands, ctrl/shift/alt + left/right click. It’s so obvious that of course blizzard can’t manage it. We can get the most unoptimized HD overlay ever conceived, an HD overlay with seemingly no visual difference between the highest and lowest settings other than how much it cooks your gpu, but we can’t get stacking gems. What a world.
