Can’t join games with other characters.
Same here, got locked out about 2 h ago and can‘t get back in because „character is already in a game“

Same here, and I’ve been locked out for a while as well. This issue was not resolved, and this is current that we are having this issue, PC here. My boyfriend and his cousin are both online but there are those of us locked out now because of this

I can’t seem to log in with my Assassin character.
It says ‘Failed to enter game. This character is already in a game on the server. Please try again’.
After I click try again, then it says failed to communicate with server.
Can someone please help me so i can play? I took off work to play this this weekend

Welcome to what many many thousands of us is experiencing as well, the worst part is that blizzard clearly states its not a priority to fix.
lots of people have experienced that for +24 hours now.
Same here…been multiple hours. Sure wish they could at least acknowledge this is an issue, and that they are working on it lol.
Gaaaaahhhh My character is already in game getting fat lootz then selling them! The gates of Hell are NOT open, let me in!
They already have several times now this morning. They are working on it. I’m sure servers will be restarted by sometime this afternoon and hopefully they found the root issue.
New characters aren’t working either, my main pala is stuck and any new characters go to a blank screen at loading, and nothing happens. So more patience needed

Adding to the “cannot join due to character being different game on server issue”. Please fix this.
Blizzard Entertainment is not delivering the promised service in a suitable amount of time for your customers highlighted in your terms of service agreement.

Same her, character got rolled back 2 levels and game cannot be joined with any character since 3 hours now. Glad we had a beta test which obviously helped nothing.

Issue has happened since 7 PM in the evening for me yesterday. Usually used to launches being hit or miss but seeing as how a lot of other people are currently playing and the rest of us have been stuck with the issue for coming up to 24 hours, it’s actually pretty gratingly bad.
Would appreciate a response that equates to more than “we can’t do anything about it but we will get back to you when the people who can get back to us.”
