Update regarding the server maintenance and stuck characters:

We expect this maintenance to fix some stuck characters and probably create a few other stuck characters due to players who were in game when the maintenance started. We’re still running the stuck system periodically until we fix the causes of the stucks, so check back every hour or so to see if your character has been unlocked post-maintenance. More info from my last post below.

Hey again all.

Thanks again for the patience and information while we’ve worked on all this. We’ve done some fixes to prevent some of these characters getting stuck online in the first place and the devs are monitoring the thread here to look for opportunities to improve the stuck script and places we can help prevent players from getting stuck online like this.

Keep checking back every hour or so at this point to see if your character is unlocked. We’ve got the script running regularly so it should be processing through most of these. Anybody who has been stuck in a game for long periods of time (more than a couple of hours) please let us know here including what time and time zone you were locked out.

All the information provided so far has been extremely helpful in identifying problems so far. Your continued reports are appreciated as we’re using them to improve the system and fix the core issues which trigger these characters getting stuck.

Please note: Customer Support is not able to manually unlock these characters as they’re stuck at the server level, and we can’t flag accounts to be unlocked as the script to kick players offline is automatic.
