If you haven’t noticed, runes and charms almost never drop in Lower Kurast anymore. It was my favorite place to get rich quick. If I knew Blizzard was going to nerf it so hard I never would have bought the game. A slight nerf I could accept but this is ridiculous. Even in a full game and a complete clear you get almost nothing. I think I’m done playing this game if they don’t revert the drops at least somewhat. They took all the fun out of it.

I’ve wondered if the drops there are working correctly as well. Sometimes it seems like they aren’t super chests, but maybe there just aren’t enough players in the game.
Sometimes I get maps with 2 campfires and it seems like only one set of chests is super chest. One set of chests will just dump like 10 things and multiple piles of gold out of them, while the other set of chests only has like 3 things in them.
In any case, I’ve found more runes looting hollow trees than I have looting these chests, lol.

Why would it be nerfed? Tons of gems, charms, jewels, rings, amulets and low runes (on SP p8). Farmed for 12h in total roughly, got a Sur and Ohm. Probably some rng too.
This may be the nature of RNG.
Seeing as blizzard has no real incentive to change it and it wasn’t released in any patch notes. I’m going to say this probably isn’t the case. Its not like Blizzard has any way to profit from this and it was not something anybody has been asking for.

I got some mal and some ist runes in few runs. Good luck for me. It is RNG and thats how it works…

i personally don’t see any difference with before.
Also , doing lower kurast on P1 isn’t that efficient to begin with.
better do cows / council etc…
I havent found a single rune from there in over a week of running it in multiplayer games…not even Rals…

Its funny how you have all of these brain dead people that watch a few youtube videos on finding Ber runes, and then they go and do some lower kurast super chest runs and expect a rune in every chest. Or they will do a thousand runs that they count, and expect some sort of high or mid rune at least once because they don’t understand how RNG works in games. The game isn’t nerfed. YOUR NOT GUARANTEED ANYTHING! Its all random. You can do lower kurast runs for a whole year and have bad luck and find nothing in those chests.

Something is up for sure. My andy glitch sorc has had 1 yellow drop, 1 blue drop or have NOTHING DROP after killing Andy. This never happend in diablo 2. So something is for sure up and not the same.
For me its like 20 years ago. i mean i even found runes in lower kurast. Dont understand you guys… or maybe you dont understand rng? Rng means that is it possible that i would find every mf run a tals amor and you will find nothing.

Guys just because you never noticed when your bot had bad runs in D2 doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Now you’re just there for every drop so you actually see the string of bad drops. Don’t worry, it’s working as intended.

Cool reply. It’s actually nerfed though. Anyone coming here looking for actual answers will find none, but here’s one more vote saying: Yes, it’s nerfed, recently. Its noticeably worse than it used to be, not just a little bit, not just a string of bad luck.
it’s not nerfed it’s just on single player people did it with /players 7/8
people who haven’t played the game in years forget how hard it is to find things. it’s what makes the game addicting
