I played all the way through Act 3 in one sitting. Gained several levels and lots of gear, made it to Act 4 and then signed off.
When I signed back on, all of that progress was gone. Is that permanent? I lost several hours of gameplay. Early on, this is a hit to my excitement to play.
This makes me not want to pick up the controller again. Why would I play through all of that again just to have it deleted at some point. This needs to be fixed.
Same thing here, got rolled back from end of act 2 all the way to dark woods before getting cain if i have to do this again i give up and i’m asking for a refund. This is garbage.
edit : this is on nightmare so it’s not that easy to just speedrun back without caring about the gear i lost.
Yeah. Leveling and progressing is hard enough on Switch as it is. Trying to find good games for leveling has been a nightmare. Every level has been hard earned and losing 4-5 hours of gameplay like that is really demotivating.
Same here. Got through act 3 with a friend, stopped to eat, went back lost everything
I also lost like 4 hours of progress on my offline character. I got half way through act 2 and lost all the way back to countess 
i hope it’s fixed
Join the club, what a disgrace of a company. This game should be free and the money we paid for it should be refunded if we’re not getting some sort of boost to 40 and a fresh start on nightmare with rare gear.
my char has been gone since this morning. Blizzard!!! Bring her back already wtf. I wasted hours for no reason.

I also just made it to lvl 19 in Act 2, was about to enter the Harem in the palace, but decided to take a break. I saved and exited, then when looking at my Sorc, she was now lvl 11 again. I thought it was a sync issue, logged out and back in, joined a game, and sure enough, I am back in Act 1 again. I was pretty happy with my progression. This makes me sad. I do not want to play with the fear this could happen again. I noticed once I logged out there was a patch that must have come in while I was playing. I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
I just started playing my level 16 paladin at the start of act II. cleared the act and moved on to act III at level 20. clicked Save and Exit and my character is level 16 at the start of act II again.
I made it about a quarter of the way through act 2 when my daughter got disconnected and dropped from level 19 to level 12. I exited the game and was level 19. This morning I’m back to level 11 and three quarters of the way through act 1. Very unhappy about the items I lost that will probably never show up again. To lose progression in a game like this that tracks progression so carefully seems a large flaw.
I finish first act and I lost gear and exp. Again on level 1. WTF
