I’ve been playing an offline character so I can enjoy the game while there are server issues… My Druid “Vespa” who just recently got to Act II is now back to level 1 for no reason after installation of the latest patch.
Any way to recover the progress?
I’m hesitant to spend more time on the game if that much character progress can just disappear.
I see there was an issue reported before that Blizz said was resolved and shouldn’t happen again. But it seems to have.

I had the same problem twice… i had a sorceress level 52 and after an update, i restart the game and she was 40 and had lost all my new gear îve found betwen level 40 to 52…. Same thibg qith my amazon, 26 to 15, again after an update today!!!
Seriously, my patience as limits with this game…. I spent so many hours…
If there is no way to repair this magistral bug, i just want my money back!!! Well done blizzard…
I had exactly same issue - lost progress for 12 hours after latest patch (1.06) installed on ps4. It’s really annoying when you lose your time and no one can garanttee that it won’t happen again.
Hey neat, another patch version and another round of progress lost! WTF
I made sure i « save and quit » every time i stop playing and i disabled the automatic update on my ps5 
… the only option i know for now
