same here, left the game after killing duriel. quest is black, all other quests are done.
cannot proceed further, @blizzard fix this!

Iām on Act II Nightmare and I have the quest for the staff. I canāt get the shaft to drop, but I did somehow get the Amulet from the Claw Viper Temple to drop.
I am playing an online character, but always solo.
Iāve rerun the Maggot Lair several times, each time starting a new game, and the chest containing the shaft isnāt ever glowing, and also the maggot boss that usually spawns never shows up either.
I went to the true tomb of Tal Rasha just to see if maybe I could activate the orfice, but I cannot. The wall also is stuck as closed. This makes sense since I have yet to build the staff.
I did try and get the cube as well, but that also didnāt drop. Itās been a while, but Iām pretty sure that particular behavior is normal since I already have the cube from Normal mode.
Update: I kept re-running Maggot Lair, and this time I got the staff shaft to drop. The only thing I did differently was not cast the spell āTeleportā as a Sorcerress. Somehow I doubt this is the actual reason why it worked this time, but thatās the only thing I did differently.
I hope they fix this soon for yāall.
