Just read that lost ark has a bot problem.
Where are the guys saying that the d2 bots did only exist because of drop rate and d2jsp???
Guess it must be something else

What a suprise ![]()
What kind of trading lost ark has between players? I only know its pay to win so… Nothing for me.
I really don’t know as I don’t play it and haven’t watched even a single video about it. I just have seen a few screenshot and read news and forum posts
I have watched few minutes when “game snob” had video about it trying to play it and trashtalked it whole time
When I saw start of it, i was like : why does it look like diablo 3? The ground looked like clone of high heavens d3 maps.
Makes sense, why wouldn’t bots be part of a F2P Korean MMO where simplified AoE damage is king? I just read an article they aren’t going to add any more server capacity, they probably know if they did it wouldn’t serve to help out real/actual players, but more bots, lol. Especially once the game dies down in a couple months once the magic/hype wears off, all that remains will be those experiencing sunk cost fallacy, whoever actually enjoys the game, and bots.
I guess every reasonable person knew it. But here in this forum are still folks that are completely cut from reality.
No way, stop trolling… We all know bots only exist on D2…
Imagine that, a bot playing Lost Ark. That didn’t take long…
I ran a bot to play minesweeper… Funny watching it go bvvvvrt done, completing expert minefields in ~1 second. It did fail several times though, as there are situations where all one can do is guess. I got a whole 3 minutes of enjoyment out of it.
The same place where the guys are that say the Earth’s flat. Who cares where they are. Botting is always an issue when RMT is involved. Any popular game is going to have issues with it, some much worse than others than others.
Blizzard hasn’t had a great track record with botting though. At all…
One massive issue on WoW are the 3 day bans for purchasing currency from third parties. Stuff like that just enables botting further. Unfortunately you can’t really mitigate RMT in Diablo 2 though, but I suppose one thing you can do is make the loot hunt more fun; so they are partially on the right track with what they may have said.
There are bots to make real money and then there are people botting because they don’t want to farm for 200 hours to only find 2 items worth trading. I’d say this is different than a lot of games. If the game is fun, you are mainly going to have issues with RMT botters. In this game, you have both RMT botters and people botting because the game sucks a month into a fresh economy.
It is kind of an issue when shakos, occy, tals armor and ammy, etc are worth next to nothing after a month. There are ways to make the loot hunt a lot more fun for longer periods of time and mods of D2 have been successful in that avenue.
Not sure what your point is, but you have both categories of botter in any popular game.
I can easily understand the guy using a WoW fishing bot, because it’s about the most boring activity in the game. I can’t understand the D2 or D3 bot, where you basically just have to play to get things and there is nothing left to do afterwards.
Drop rates are just an excuse to not play the game. It’s not like there is some magic portal afterwards where you need the gear to compete, except for PvP.
Do you know why they are worth nothing after a month? Because they are very common items. They drop frequently and everybody who needs one already got one.
No way. ITS Diablo ther has bots. /s
İ guess he is trying to imply the corruption system
Which eliminates some of those items bu bricking them and enables good value if you get a good corrupt
Also in path of diablo you can always sell those common items easily for a corruption material when you are playing through with its really good trading site
Aaahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahah
20characters
i mean the game did come out over 2 years ago
Oh.
Thats not true Blizzard sued the creators of Glider and shut them down and got awarded $6m
Who said that? Even without d2jsp, botting would exist in D2. aRPGs with free trade almost always have bots as time passed assuming that they have some popularity.
Having said that, all you need to do is know what the acronym jsp stands for to know the origin of this website and how it contributed initially to the D2 botting problem.
The drop rates are also connected to botting. Botting for epeen, trading and RMT will occur more frequently when there are rare/super rare items of value.
Who cares? I don’t see Lost Ark in the Battlenet Launcher list of games.
And this is the D2R forum.
I love when there is no actual proof of criminal activity yet one will find someone trolling by saying there are criminals wandering the neighborhood.
Next thing OP is going to talk politics and hollywood news.
so you just decided to post this to make yourself seem even more stupid? LOL"I really don’t know as I don’t play it and haven’t watched even a single video about it. " man o man you kids these days…
And not a single person in the world said only d2 has bots
I can’t think of a popular MMO or ARPG that isn’t flooded with bots. As long as there are people who prefer to swipe the credit card for loot / currency, there will always be bots
