Lootfilter feedback

Thank you for adding loot filters — they’re a fantastic addition. I really appreciate the continued support and updates.

please consider adding some more functionalities to the filter system:

  • Display Item Level (ilvl) directly on items (toggle option).
  • Filter by Item Level (e.g., show only ilvl 85+).
  • Filter by Number of Sockets (e.g., highlight or show only 3–4 socket bases).
  • Add minimap icon for selected item types

some nice extra fetures, would be:

  • Change text color per filter rule
  • Change text size per filter rule
  • Toggle bold / outline text
  • Add background highlight box behind item names
  • Add item beam / light pillar toggle (color customizable)
  • Add sound alert per rule (with selectable sounds)
  • Adjust drop label fade time
  • Add separate opacity slider for ground text

Sometimes I have so much being filtered I forget if the filter is on or off when I press the hotkey to see everything. I wish I could display a text of some sort letting me know if my filter is on or off and also if my loot in general is being shown/hidden.

I agree with the colour and number of socket display, the other stuff would not be necessary for me and sounds a bit like you are spoilt from D4  .

What I don’t understand are the rules of the filter. To my understanding there only needs to be one rule to cover everything. If I set a rule type to Show and just check all items I want to be shown, why isn’t the rest hidden? Instead it seems I have to make additional rules to first hide everything I don’t want to see and later one rule after the other to make everything show up again which I want to see. Seems rather pointless. Can you change how the whole thing works, please? One rule to show/hide them all!

Not one thing listed was invented for d4 and only lightbeams are present there

We must stop letting any other diablo title living rent free in our heads

The custom light pillar, custom sound effect and the mini map icon is all i need

There’s definitely some bugs and/or design discrepancies that cause the filters not to behave as expected in some situations.

I actually made a quick video on how to use the filter on YT if you search “How to USE or FIX your D2R LOOT FILTER!”

Basically, you need to start from scratch and use two rules. First rule is HIDE every single thing. Then make your second rule to SHOW everything. Then uncheck the items in the “show” list that you want hidden. This is because the show rule always takes priority over a hide rule. It’s easy to get things lost and lost where you have something hidden or shown.

I would love a Filter option to Automatically Track your Chronical progress to always show missing chronical items reguardless of your Loot filter choices. so that when you get a Chronical item it automatically stops tracking that specific item unless otherwise shown in the filter
