Loot Drop Text Colors

Perhaps its my monitor, who knows. OG D2 I never had an issue distinguishing colors.
But now, I can’t tell if an item is grey or blue on the ground. I’d rather know off the bat if I’m looking at socketed items, or unid’s etc.

I think it’s either your monitor or you need to turn on the colorblind settings :\

Run a calibration program for your monitor. That may help.

There’s a bunch of new video settings you can play with that will change the color of items. Also, I think there is colorblind settings in the Gameplay tab.

I think it could be your monitor but I would also suggest that you verify the colorblind options, you may have turned one on without noticing it!

Sadly, not a colorblind issue. I’ve adjusted monitor settings a tad bit, seems to help minimally. But really, the new graphics are what’s doing it. . flip to old graphics and the blues stand out more, etc. /shrug/

same here hard for me to see if an item is unique the gold looks like the white

I have the same problem with unique gold and white items and want them to be more distinguishable. I play on a system with a beamer and a grey screen. This might make it worse, but still I would like to see a change here.

Well I’ve solved some of the issue; the PC’s “night light” mode was on. disabled that crap and now I can tell the colors easier. Gold/Yellow/White are still too close, but I can at least distinguish the grey/blue easier .

im getting incredibly frustrated with this, im feeling like im not far away from requesting a refund because I can’t read the damn loot on the ground. Which is a problem I didn’t even notice until like 20 hrs in the game where I get to the point that the rare stuff starts dropping.

I probably already past up a ton of good loot because it looked like the white loot, the crappiest most common gear in the game.

For a game centered around loot, this seems like an unacceptable design flaw to me.
