Looking for tips

I’ve learned quite a bit reading these forums the last few days. Many things I didnt know about like Rune recipes, item farms, and items like “Infinity”.

As a somewhat noobish player, I’m looking for some tips. I’m aware of a few things like full rejuvenation potions, combining gems, converting amulets to rings and vice versa, and creating long swords with life steal, farming bosses and certain zones for xp and items, and the cow level. These are some of the things I knew about when I first played.

Any tips would be appreciated. Unique or bizarre class builds, horadric cube recipes, speed runs, or even not so obvious tidbits of knowledge that not every player might know about. I’m very interested in learning more secrets about this game

Still my goto for quick info on lots of stuff

some i like: hold F + use mousewheel to zoom freely
set attack to right click so u auto move and auto attack without having to click, u can just hold rmb to clear whole packs

edit: also use shift+ rclick on a potion to heal your merc, or on controller L2+ dpad

My tip is:

•Don’t ever be scared to experiment. You do NOT have to have every point perfectly placed in order to beat Hell comfortably. You do NOT have to sit around with only enough strength to wear some version of quilted armor. If you want to put 100 strength on your sorc to wear a unique heavy armor instead of a runeword or light armor DO IT! Want to use a Wizardspike instead of be the millionth person with a Spirit sword? DO IT! I’d recommend not going nuts with it, but whatever. Many of us played like this back when we didn’t even have respecs. You have three basically free now and you can farm for more. So go crazy experimenting with your character. You don’t need a skill calculator and a guide; you just need to click and find out :slight_smile:
