Am I missing something? I am playing offline single-player and
I’m trying to farm skill and all resist charms with my druid.
I’ve done dozens of nightmare Baal runs and dozens of Hell pit clear runs with my lvl 87 druid. I have magic find of between 350-400%. I have found more regular charms than I can count but not any All resist charms or skiller charms. I have also tried re-rolling high level charms in the cube but still nothing. Despite nearly 50 runs, I have yet to find a single skiller charm or all resist charm. NOT A SINGLE ONE.
Am I doing something wrong or am I just extremely unlucky?
Anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance!
Magic find doesn’t affect charm drops, only player count. Opening chests in lower kurast on high player count is a good way to find charms, if you want to focus.
A skiller is about 1:23, so on average you need to find 23 grand charms to find a skiller. And if you are looking for a specific one, it is 1:484, because there are 21 different skillers, so 21*23.
A small charm with 3-5% all res is 1:242.
Keep in mind though, because of rng it can take much longer. As a rule of thumb, I find that items rarely take longer to drop than 3 times the average. That would mean you’ll very well might have to find at least over 60 grand charms before you’ll get a skiller.

Ah ok thanks. I’ve been playing on single player so I guess it will be a pretty low drop rate for me. I’ll keep up the grind until I get lucky. Thanks for the advice!
Is it the same for resist charms?
mf does not really matter here, it just increases the chance of a common drop to become magic/rare/unique/set.
Well chances are slim.
Try doing nightmare cows and focus on killing as fast as you can, you can drop mf if it raises your killspeed.

Yes, a grand charm with 13-15% all res is also 1:484.

Travincal is also a good spot to get charms or arcane sanctuary with those ghosts and chests.

Cows is my go to spot for charms/gems. It’s all about body count with them so any place you can clear quick with lots of guys.

Just a word of warning for that one, ghosts don’t drop items when they aren’t killed on platforms, so depending on your farming methods, it may be a bad idea to count on their drops.
