Almost done with my ssf healer Paladin which for reference is a Paladin (duh) that is only allowed to use buffs, movement and healing skills (which means Holy Bolt rocks as it’s my only skill that deals damage to some of the creatures, FoH bolts don’t heal so I placed points for syn but can’t use it).
Main damage in many situations is my merc, which I need to keep alive in ssf so limited gear and HB is needed even though I maxed Prayer.
So I am looking for a new project, again ssf and should not be a walk through the park and not rely on specific items (its ssf).
Willing to endure the hardship, in fact its why I am doing this, so any nice ideas?

Not sure if a Golem can get enough damage to even compare to a merc though.
Might use Iron Golem as a support for the merc, but seems its more of a buff the merc build then.
Think it’s still bugged.
I’ll read up on it again though and it’s only 1 skill, so I could add Energy Shield and go for the long breath
Might need to combine those or it will be a Merc needs to level me to 30 by itself build (and need something to spend the skill points on when doing the poison zon anyway)
Sound like fun actually, think I’ll try this one first, though I think it would be the easiest one so still in doubt about that Necro.
After the changes to Druids being able to Summon all of their pets at once, I’ve hoped that they may do the same with Necro Golems some day. I think it would be pretty cool if you could have all 4 Golems running at once. It still wouldn’t be very good, but it would be interesting.
All 4 and a bit of a buff would be pretty cool I agree.
Well guess I will punish myself and see whether a Golem build can actually beat Hell ssf, though already wondering which trickery I need to get past Andy, probably a merc and necro with bows socketed with rubies and a shortlived golem tank XD
Maybe a Holy Fire paladin using a missile weapon with exploding arrows? It requires a specific weapon, but low level Raven Claw should suffice until you find a better one. A sorceress with the same weapon is also an option, but after recent bugfix may be a cakewalk.
A Holy Freeze zealot. Most use Holy Fire or Holy Shock for higher damage; Holy Freeze has lower, but is safer, as it slows the enemies down.
A Blade Fury sin.
Guess I could try it eventually assuming a merc is allowed (just did a Merc does most of the work so will do something else first), might even be easier than the Paladin version.
Without a merc can’t see this ever working, attract is strong, but without CE you’ll eventually end up with 1 monster you can’t kill even if you manage the rest
Sorc will indeed be a lot easier (teleport allows you to skip so much).
Always loved Holy Fire starters though and often used a bow at certain moments if I really had troubles finding anything usefull.
I could ofcourse allow myself 1 item from another char if a build needs a certain item to be played at all, like Raven Claw, however could also just say Holy Fire build with a bow, if you find an explosive arrow well your lukcy otherwise good luck XD
I guess this one would be more interesting than the fire version, never actually done a Holy Freeze as far as I remember.
It’s on the list for sure now, maybe a Holy Freeze with a bow…might be pushing it though
Had my doubts about this one, but I think it will be very easy, might be wrong but I think these have an insane damage output now (well insane for freaky builds :P)
Not sure if I dare Hardcore on Blizzard games/servers again, always seem to eventually lose a character to the server not to making a mistake (if I would hazard a guess the last 10 hardcore characters that died where all due to server issues or game crashing which D2r does sometimes, though usually when not active in town for some reason or even in the character screen).
So basically gave up hardcore on the “solid” blizzard servers, which is a shame because I do like hardcore.
oh i thought you were serious and wanted a fun real challenge only few have been willing to attempt and eventually morphed into truly skilled hardcore gamers after completing. my mistake, how about you try a blizzard sorceress or a hammerdin? those seem more up your alley.
Actually never play Blizzard nor Hammerdin, well except last season but basically wanted to prove a Blizzard can beat Hell with purely ssf normal/NM gear and “comfortably” farm it with 1 sunder and the same gear.
It worked very easy and did what I feared, got bored the moment I could run everything and quit.
I am looking for a challenge, not something that simply cannot be done.
So when I read naked curse I though no skill points into none-curse tree and nothing that gave you other types of attack like a wand with CE charges or on attack proc weapon, basically you can only curse.
Hence the, I just did a buff/heal merc playthrough and while Curse Necro sounds interesting, I will first try something else.
If you meant no merc aswell than you were not serious because except for iron maiden you would have no option to actually kill enemies and even if you could get the necro to survive, not everything actually deals physical melee damage.
